The Kalhat Dormitory North Of Lebanon project envisions three distinct carved prisms nestled within the village. Blocks A & C constitute of a dormitory facility for students of the neighborhood university while block B maintains independence, exclusively housing private apartments designated for the project owner.
The Kalhat North of Lebanon project is conceived as a harmonious ensemble of three sculpted prisms, seamlessly integrated into the village landscape. Comprising four stories each, the dormitory blocks share a cohesive architectural language characterized by substantial lateral facades. These facades open up at their edges, preserving captivating views of the sea to the west and the surrounding mountains to the east, fostering a strong connection with the natural environment.
Blocks A and B are intricately linked by both their geometric alignment and shared architectural character, engaging in a perpetual dialogue with one another. Block C introduces a diagonal intersection with Block A, strategically enhancing the sea views from its apartments.
Within the three blocks, dormitory units are strategically distributed, complemented by five studios at the garden floor of Blocks A and C. Block A and C units are efficiently arranged around a common core, leading to the shared covered parking facility in the basement. Block B, with its independent status, hosts private apartments exclusively designated for the project owner, adding a personalized touch to the overall design. This thoughtful integration of geometry, shared elements, and strategic positioning creates a distinctive residential complex that seamlessly blends with its picturesque suroundings.
